The majority of teenagers are no longer welcome at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami.
Event organizers announced a new age requirement on Monday that will limit entrance to visitors 18 years and older.
Several incidents at the most recent festival in March, including a security guard being trampled following a break in a security gate, led to the new age restrictions.
'The first step to having fun is feeling safe,' festival Security Director Ray Martinez said, 'We have chosen to adopt several new measures during next year's festival to ensure our event is safe and secure. The first step to preserving the unique atmosphere that Ultra is famous for is to be proactive in attracting the right crowd.'
The popular outdoor festival held in Bayfront Park each March features the top electronic music performers from around the world.
Next year's Ultra Music Festival will take place March 27, 28, and 29.
Pre-registration tickets will go on sale beginning Sept. 15.

Until now, many locks were secure simply because they were too complex to be bumped and, as a result, you had a bit of security by obscurity. That's all changing.
