Friday night at the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Taylor Swift gave an amazing 5-set performance, concluding with Shake It Off from her best-selling album 1989. It was the only song from her set that was from the album.
In the videos that follow, courtesy of YouTube, Taylor Swift (and the other acts and groups like Ariana Grande, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Chris Brown and Coldplay) and the iHeartRadio Music Festival, Swift is dressed in a sexy pink two-piece number that shows off her toned abs. The saxophone player is great, as is the entire horn section. Behind Swift, the title of her latest album, 1989, is lit up. As she finishes singing, she thanks the audience and iHeartRadio Music Festival. The video of the performance follows.
Also exciting the sell-out crowds were acts like Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj, who performed a 5-sgon 30-minute set. Bang Bang was one of the highlights. Jesse J, unfortunately, was not there to participate in the performance, but Ariana and Nicki were terrific. The rapping in Bang Bang was rapid-fire.
One of the songs that Nicki Minaj performed without Ariana Grande was Starships. She was dressed in gold-and-balck pants and a gold-and-black colored top that resembled a bra. Male and female dancers added a lot of action to the performance, the guys dancing shirtless. At the end of the song, Nicki Minaj thanked iHeart Radio. Click below to view the video!
Usher and Chris Brown were on fire when they performed the song New Flame. They both showed off their tremendous dance moves during the song. Chris Brown began singing it, wearing a white-and-black jacket and pants and a red baseball cap on his head, turned backwards. At the end of the song, Usher took off his black tennis shoes and lit them on fire, kind of like Jimi Hendrix when he lit his guitar on fire once. Check out their performance below!
Also at the iHeartRadio Music Festival on Friday was Coldplay with lead singer, Chris Martin, doing some pretty cool dance moves and backward-bends of his own. Martin played the piano while standing up during a few of the songs, like Paradise. Jennifer Lawrence was there, watching the whole show from the sidelines as her rumored boyfriend sang during Coldplay's 5-song set. The entire set follows, over 23 minutes. Check it out, Coldplay fans!
Saturday afternoon at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada, fans were entertained by Lil Jon, The Pretty Reckless, Meghan Trainor, 5 Seconds of Summer, Childish Gambino, Fences, Kacey Musgraves, Neon Trees, Iggy Azalea, Jake Miller, and more, as the music and fun kept the two-day party atmosphere at a fever pitch.
Then, on Saturday night, the iHeartRadio Music Festival, hosted by Ryan Seacrest, will close with performances by such enormously popular acts like Weezer, 50 Cent, Lorde, Train, One Direction, Iggy Azalea, Paramore, Calvin Harris, Ed Sheeran and Eric Church.
