THE ARIST: RUXPIN http://ift.tt/1FiPfOd Icelandic musician currently resided in Tallinn, Estonia. Started producing music back in 1996 and released his debut full-length album in 1999. Currently has the total of eight LPs under his belts on Elektrolux, Mikrolux and n5MD. THE MIX: This is a collection of tracks which are on constant repeat for me. I tried to keep the whole mix flowing and keep a certain mood of passive-aggressiveness going on. A battle between the fast and the slow, the roughness and the softness, the beauty and the beast. Not necessarily the obvious choices, which makes the mix a bit more demanding. There is no certain tempo, but the style is predominantly in the line of experimental chillout – even occasionally drifting into IDM.
