Hypercolour Patterns 7 - Preview Clips (192 kbps) by Hypercolour

Hypercolour celebrate their 9th year of releasing music with the yearly ‘Patterns’ compilation showcasing the British label’s rich back catalogue. This digital album is a look back at some of the labels most successful releases from the last 12 months, and digs a little deeper also into the labels decade long arsenal of electronic music. The label has featured some of the most respected names in the world of dance music with essential tracks from the likes of Laurent Garnier, Luke Vibert, Jimmy Edgar, Clapz II Dogz (Soul Clap and Catz N Dogz) and Seth Troxler and Phil Moffa all making it onto the tracklist with their unique take on the 4/4 sound. Also featured on the compilation are some of the labels most consistent regular contributors; with Tom Demac, A Sagittariun and Alex Jones all being represented by some of their Hypercolour classics. Also featured on the release are Axel Bowman who has gone from strength to strength since his Glass Table debut back in 2011, Lucretio (aka one half of the Analogue Cops) who released the superb ‘Monkey Suits’ earlier in the year on Hypercolour, techno don Joe Farr and West Norwood Cassette Library. The compilation doesn’t disappoint on the remix front either, with Mosca expertly reworking House Of Black Lanterns, Kyle Hall takes on Jimmy Edgar in a Detroit soundclash and Space Dimension Controller twists Luke Vibert’s seminal ‘Jack U Whole’.
