The promotional company behind the annual Spring Awakening Music Festival at Soldier Field has announced a holiday pre-sale for tickets to the 2015 event as well as some overall changes to the festival.
A limited amount of pre-sale tickets are available now at the festival's website. According to a press release from React Presents, SAMF will now be an 18+ only event. A new initiative called the SAMF Wellness Team will also debut next year, the goal being to have a group on site that fest-goers can get water from, answer questions and direct them to security if any problems arise.
According to the release, 'SAMF truly appreciates the support from our younger fans, but we believe the festival is an experience for adults. This difficult decision was made to promote safety amongst our fans and ensure the best experience for our attendees and future attendees.'
The fest has consistent attracted fans of EDM music and has regularly attracted big names like Diplo, Skrillex, and Bassnectar in previous years.
